Macedonia is one of those rare places on earth that has over 260 sunny days per year. The summers are hot and dry and the winters are moderately cold. Macedonian territory is a transitional region between Mediterranean and Continental climates. Along the river valleys of the Vardar River and Strumica the climate is temperate Mediterranean while the interior has moderate continental climate. Useful facts for the filmmakers:
